ℹ️ Originally released in 1996, with this version one year later in 1997, Resident Evil is a survival horror game set in a fictional region known as Arklay, where players control both Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in order to help them escape a mansion of zombies and monsters.
🪖 They are part of the elite task force known as S.T.A.R.S., so this means you are now also part of it! In this zombie and monster shooter game, you have to give it your absolute best to survive from start to finish, with the only safe place being out of the mansion! Can you do it?

🤔 What’s the difference between the two playable characters?
👨 Chris has more health, can handle bigger weapons, and his starting item is a lighter.
👩 Jill has a bigger capacity for her inventory and can use a lockpick to open the doors, while Chris has to use keys.
🎯 Your mission:
🕵️‍♂️ Infiltrate Spencer Mansion, where your colleagues from STARS have disappeared, after they were sent in there on a mission. Something is sinister about it! Try to find your comrades, secure an escape route, and stay alive!
🧟 Shoot zombies!
🔫 They are your main opponents in this game, although you never know who from your team might betray you, or get infected! One thing is certain: shoot the zombies, don’t let them kill you! Shoot the other kinds of monsters lurking in the shadows of Spencer Mansion and Raccoon City!
💔 Try not to die from your showdowns with the monsters! If you do, return to the previously saved point. Try to save as often as possible, especially when you feel like you’re about to face off against a lot of monsters up ahead! Hopefully, they don’t take you by surprise!
🧠 Use your brain to survive, just as much as you use your guns!
🗝️ What made RE so special at the time of its release is that it was much more than a zombie shooter game; it was also a puzzle-solving and item-management game at the same time, which are key elements of winning the game and surviving the whole plot!
